Absolutely beautiful song
ALWAYS AND FOREVER HAWKWIND!!!!!!!!!!!
From ” The Legend of Beenzon Toste “
Yes, Lemmy was in Hawkwind, being vocal/ bass on Silver Machine’s debut version that went right up the charts.
I’m here trying to find their version of Lost Johnny, but no luck so far, just Motorhead versions.
@poulsontheprick . yeah iagree brockys voice it sounds like an old anglo saxon or a viking transported to the modern days and singing science fiction songs ,does that make sense .
@motorheadmalc Lost Johnny was released as a bonus track on the remastered CD of this album.
@Paul07791 That’s good to know. Thank you.
@motorheadmalc Actually it might have been a bonus track on Doremi Fasol Latido, I can’t remember at the moment.
@Paul07791 Maaan, if you can remember, then you weren’t there.
@russkinrussable that was on the planet brunus just before the joining of the two stars and the supernova.
@russkinrussable i am here to please.
i grew up with hawkwind loved them then and still love them
Fitting that the writer of this beautiful piece would later work with the next generations most artistically creative group, Japan, on their Tin Drum magnus opus.
love it to bits
@CONSIDERABLYMORE1 Didnt know that interesting nugget , who wrote it ? I been loving hawkwind , japan , sylvian for yrs
@SuperNobby65 hi, simon house, who played violin on Tin Drum. Tin Drum was and is one of the most important albums in my life. ironically i had a pot smoking mate who tried to get me into hawkwind in the early 80s and only later discovered the connection with the Lewisham quartet!
@CONSIDERABLYMORE1 Thanks ….. quiet life and tin drum certainly do it for me
oooh my the 4 way clearlight tickets and hawkwind what a way to
spend your youth :>
The only LP I know thats named after my local cafe! (well, ex coz its gone now).
yes lemmy was in hawkwind
@SuperNobby65 : don’t know how hawkwind can be linked with japan unless during the quark strangeness and charm period.
@megimp Neither did i until it was pointed out to me ~ Simon House is the link ^ see above post
hey dude nice upload!! by the way I’ve got some videos with the same yellow stripe.. do you know how to get rid off them stripes???
This is deep, kind of makes you ponder the ridiculous thought about the depth of Space…is there an end to the length of our universe? Oy-Vay!!
sounds like some black metal song intro
